Over on my personal blog I mentioned that if you see no other movie this summer, Ratatouille should make it to the top of your list of movies to see. For the oenophiles, you will appreciate a scene where two characters get drunk on ’61 Latour and a food critic orders a bottle of ’47 Cheval Blanc. I just came across the following article from Wine Spectator, published in March 2007, that shows the appreciation of the 1994 vintage of Dominus in the auction market. From its release price of $75, the 1994 has recently fetched as much as $319 a bottle. Thankfully I have one bottle left…now the question is to drink or to sell!
